Ingredients to Make Low Carb Keto Croissants

These are all the ingredients you will need to make these croissants

  • 1 ½ cups mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 2 oz. cream cheese, cubed
  • ¾ cup almond flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1 egg
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder, optional but makes the dough rise

How to make keto croissants

To start, gather all the ingredients in one place.

Next, in a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, onion powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and salt.

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the cream cheese and mozzarella and mMicrowave the cheese for 30 seconds. Repeat again until the cheese is melted.

Add the cheese mixture to the dry ingredients.

Add the egg and stir until the dough comes together, then rrefrigerate dough for 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 350F and rRoll out the dough into a ¼-inch-thick rectangle. It is best to spread the gluten-free croissant dough between two sheets of parchment paper.

Cut the dough into squares, then cut each square into a rectangle.
