Cauliflower is very versatile and has so many health benefits that I love including it in my recipes even though it is naturally bland. I use it to create flavorful, mind-blowing recipes that will keep you coming back for more and more.

This is the best cauliflower soup recipe I have tasted, the blend of Jamaican herbs and spices takes this cauliflower soup recipe to another level.

At first I debated the idea of ​​making a vegan creamed cauliflower or roasted cauliflower soup (vegan), but decided to go with a vegan cauliflower soup à la Jamaican. As a Jamaican, this was the most natural soup to make and based on my background, my white bean soup and my Vegan Cabbage Soup are huge successes.

How to Make Vegan Cauliflower Soup

  1. Saute onion, garlic, celery, green onion, thyme and parsley in olive oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat until onion is tender. Add the cauliflower florets, vegetable stock, chilli, pepper and salt.
  2. Bring the pot to a boil, cover, and simmer until the cauliflower is fork-tender, about 15 to 20 minutes. Remove the Scotch Bonnet pepper.
  3. Allow the soup to cool slightly, transfer the soup to a high-speed blender and blend thoroughly until smooth. You can do this in batches to prevent the mixer bowl from overflowing. If using a hand blender, serve the soup and enjoy.
